Chief of Staff address to the staff.

Coordinator, presented the Steadfast Juncture 2011 crest to the
Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Jouke Eikelboom.
The Chief of Staff NATO Allied Joint Force Command Headquarters (JFC HQ) Brunssum, Lieutenant General Jouke Eikelboom assembled the staff in the Alliance Theatre Friday, 16 December to thank them for the work done in 2011 and to wish all a Merry Christmas.

At the beginning of the ‘staff address' Brigadier General Eddie Staes, JFC HQ Brunssum NRF Coordinator, presented the Steadfast Juncture 2011 crest to the Chief of Staff as a sign for a successful end of the preparation phase for NRF 2012. In response General Eikelboom thanked the staff for its work and said "This is more for you than for me. Congratulations!”

In the following speech the Chief of Staff spoke about the Brunssum campaign plan. He gave a review for 2011 by looking at the six lines of effort which are the headquarters' mission priorities with ISAF as our primary mission.

After General Eikelboom went through the lines of effort he expressed his special thank to the staff working in the Business Information Branch (BIM) and in the Facility Management Branch (FMB). He said, "You are needed to run the staff engine. It is a long list of work you did in 2011.”

Finally, the Chief of Staff concluded his staff address by saying "In my opinion you represent the best military headquarters of NATO. You all performed a great work as a team. From my perspective 2011 was a very successful year. It was an honour to work with you!”
